Reviews
I’ve been a fan of the Lynhall for awhile now and recently I seem to be visiting the Edina location more often than Uptown! Lynhall Edina is bright and cozy, with tall ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, warm wood tones and plenty of seating options for big groups or a solo coffee. The Edina location shares much of the same menu as the Uptown restaurant. They have a variety of pastries and some very creative brunch options, but you’ll most likely find me ordering the Lynhall “Standard,” with eggs, sourdough toast, fried potatoes and a choice of breakfast meat or broccolini. I’m pretty picky when it comes to a traditional breakfast and I appreciate crisp potatoes (there’s nothing worse than soggy, greasy potatoes), sourdough bread and the choice of a veggie meat or vegetable. Everything was prepared perfectly with a side of jam, ketchup and/hot sauce, if you’d like. The coffee is terrific as well!
Note: As of the time of this review, Lynhall Edina serves brunch only and is open until 2pm, so don’t show up for a 1:45pm coffee meeting like I did once with a client. ;) There’s a nearby ramp for convenient, free parking, any time of year or weather. I’m hoping to come back soon to try the afternoon tea offering!
The restaurant provides a beautiful atmosphere in a great location. You’re going to pay for the ambience in the price of the food, but the quality and flavor merits a higher price.
We asked to split our plates, and the kitchen provided a gracious helping of the sides for each of us.
Had the best time at brunch. Loved the glazed pear waffles. But honestly everything we got was so tasty. Excellent service. Would highly recommend!
Went for the afternoon tea service. Everything was set up in advance, very smooth greeting to seating. The staff were even able to help accommodate for our dietary restrictions! Highly recommend the tea experience but I would say it's more food than I expected so come ready to eat
Had such a unique fun experience at the tea party here! Loved the teas and more pastries than I thought I would!
Would recommend trying the tea party at least once!
Tried the Black Jasmine tea, it was absolutely delicious
I was so full I took half of nearly every pastry home and finished them the following days
This is a bright restaurant with a relaxed but upscale vibe. The menu is varied with a slight British/European tilt but also lots of American favorites. Portions are large, food was well-prepared, and service was fast and friendly. …
Highly overpriced. Food was good not necessarily worth $15 for French toast, though. It was dry and needed syrup. The regular breakfast had very thick slabs of bacon. Again, that is not to everyone’s taste. I won’t be back. Best to go to Patrick’s Bakery.
Afternoon Tea came in at $80+ per person including tip and for what? Food that tasted like it came from the $1 day old bread box at a grocery store. Nothing was fresh and no flavors shined through. They charged extra to change out your tea, …
